One of our longstanding design clients and good friends East Coast Gourmet just enlisted the services of FoodLabelDesign.com to develop a new label for their Light House Lobster Pie. We did some research on Massachusetts light houses, where the company is based, and found a couple to our liking. Using the basic style of those light houses we developed a rough sketch and then a pen and ink drawing to be included on the new retail label. We also used some authentic new england colors. The blue being a well worn color found on boats, floats, etc… and the dark red being found on the stripes of some light houses. East Coast Gourmet pretty much gave us free range on the style of this one, and we went for a kind of vintage theme that blends well with some of the other graphics and product labels that we have developed for them over the years.

If you live in or around new england check your seafood section at your local grocery store soon for East Coast Gourmet’s new Light House Lobster Pie featuring a product label design by FoodLabelDesign.com

And if you love, love, love seafood and want it shipped fresh right to your door visit their website: www.EastCoastGourmet.com
